KS3:

At KS3 there are 2 45 minute lessons each week with 1 30 minute homework activity.

In KS3 students study:
Form 1 - 1066-1485
Form 2 - 1485-1750
Form 3 - 1750 - 1960
 
Assessments are done frequently during lessons and for homework and feedback is given.

 

KS4:

At KS4 there are 4 45 minute lessons each week with 2 30 minute homework activities.
We follow the OCR History B J418 Course 
 
The units comprise of:
Unit 1 A010  Historical enquiry - Controlled Assessment worth 50 marks.  25% of the final grade.  2000 word essay.
Unit 2 A013 Aspects of International Relations 1945-1975 with Depth Study USA 1919-1941  2hrs exam worth 45% of the final mark.  Marked out of 81.(6 marks for SPAG)
Unit 3  A021  How far was British society changed 1890-1918.  1 1/2 hour exam.  Marked out of 53.  Worth 30% of the final grade.
