Merit Badges

House points are awarded to pupils for achievements and effort in all aspects of school life. For example pupils can earn house points:                   

  • For consistently working in an appropriate manner in class                          
  • For particular effort or progress shown in a piece of work                                                                                      
  • In recognition of a high standard of work achieved

House points are recorded in pupil planners and collected in a weekly basis. These house points contribute to the House Points Cup (awarded each term) and to individual merit badges presented to pupils.

Bronze Merit Badge        30 house points

Silver Merit Badge          50 house points

Gold Merit Badge            100 house points

St. Peter’s Badge              250 house points

Friday morning whole school assemblies celebrate the pupil achievements and merit badges are awarded at this time.
