Post: LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT at St Peter’s Independent School.

Required for: As soon as possible

Salary: £14,000 per annum (pro- rata)

This is a temporary, full time post for Spring and Summer Term.

We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in our Senior Department. Are you enthusiastic and love working with children? Are you dedicated and hardworking? Do you want to get involved and make a difference to children’s lives? THEN THIS POST IS FOR YOU.

The successful candidate will work alongside our teaching staff to support one particular child in Year 11. The postholder will also be required to provide lunchtime and playtime supervision on a rota basis with other staff. You will be expected to participate in staff training days, and other whole school activities.

You will be expected to work as part of the school team, be well organised and able to use initiative. You will be expected to act as a good role model for the children and have a strong commitment to working with children who have additional needs.
